Applications stay open through the year. We are not selective about your vehicle or your experience - we are selective about attitude and preparation.

How It Works
Three steps, roughly two weeks
Joining is free
There is no membership fee and no annual subscription. We charge per trail, and only for the runs you come on. Badge holders get a discount on top of that.
- Send the enquiry Tell us what you drive, what it is running, and what you have done offroad so far - on WhatsApp, using the button below. Honest answers make the next step easier.
- Have a conversation Someone from the club will call you within a week, walk through the rules and the gear list, and answer whatever you want to ask about how we run.
- Run an easy trail Come out on a Level 02 run as a guest with an assigned mentor vehicle. If it works for you and for us, membership follows after that run.
Before You Apply
What we expect
- A genuine 4x4 with working low range, in sound mechanical condition.
- Rated recovery points front and rear, and the mandatory gear on the rules and gear page.
- Willingness to start on Level 02 trails regardless of how long you have been driving.
- Attendance at a recovery training day within your first six months.
- Agreement with the ten trail rules - particularly the ones about alcohol, staying on the track, and the Marshals' call being final.
Not there yet?
Apply anyway and say so. Several current members joined before their recovery kit was complete and sorted it out over their first couple of months with advice from people who had already bought the wrong thing once.
